Hey, Erik, great site!
Regarding the phone with a real camera idea: I think the next wave of digital cameras will be wi-fi capable, and why not 3G/4G? Pretty soon your camera will be just as connected as your phone.
No word yet on whether you’ll be able to make calls with it. I guess there’s always Skype?
There are already a few camera wifi solutions out there like the Eye-Fi SD card (http://www.eye.fi/). It’s pretty great functionality to have for a studio shoot. Your images show up in Bridge/Aperture/Lightroom right as your shooting. It will be interesting to see what other technologies map over into the media production space in the next few years.
