It's pretty great functionality to have for a studio shoot. Your images show up in Bridge/Aperture/Lightroom right as your shooting. It will be interesting to see what other technologies map over into the media production space in the next few years. Regarding the phone with a real camera idea: I think the next wave of digital cameras will be wi-fi capable, and why not 3G/4G? Pretty soon your camera will be just as connected as your phone.
